The 10k Glitch is a glitch in Super Mario 64 which exploits an army of ten thousand Bob-Ombs in order to generate infinite wealth. At high speeds, if Mario initiates a crouch whilst the player holds the joystick away from Mario's facing angle, Mario can gain up to $10,000 in a single frame. This glitch is only possible if the army of working Bob-Ombs mine enough coal to power Mario's steam locomotive every 21 frames, allowing him to rapidly accelerate to 5-digit speeds and beyond, providing Mario with enough energy to duplicate cash extremely quickly.
