The Y2K Glitch is an anomaly within Super Mario 64's physics computation, when the Nintendo 64's internal clock changes date from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000. The glitch causes Mario to be displaced 20,105 units straight upwards. Due to the nature of how this glitch is triggered, it can only be used once in a 70 or 120 star run, by deliberately winding back the console's clock. The only emulator known to accurately emulate the N64's clock is Bingo64. Since the main programmer of Bingo64 once shared a screenshot of Hogwarts Legacy on Twitter, the Y2K Glitch is considered to be console exclusive.
