Parsnip is a Rabbit who spawns in the Castle Courtyard after loading a 120 star file from the File Select screen. He is located next to the sign instructing the player on how to perform triple jumps and wall kicks. When talked to, Parsnip will offer to play a game with Mario, challenging the player to catch him. Catching him is significantly more difficult than catching MIPS because of the more varied terrain Mario must navigate to keep up with Parsnip and because of the danger posed by the many Boos located in the courtyard.
